Lori Jue

As a Structural Engineer, Lori brings a broad range of structural design experience to  Forell | Elsesser. Her background in the construction phase of projects has given her insight into the many complexities of building design, and she now challenges herself to find elegantly simple and constructible design solutions. Her experience includes performing arts, education, institutional, healthcare, commercial, and high-end residential. Lori received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UC San Diego.

Outside of engineering, Lori enjoys exploring the outdoors, baking, and the performing arts.

Qudsia Wahab

As an Engineer at  Forell | Elsesser, Qudsia utilizes her knowledge to enhance the design and integrity of small, medium, and large scale projects. Her experience includes the design and analysis of public and private buildings and structures. Qudsia brings a fresh outlook on each structural challenge taking into account each project’s individual and unique project requirements and budget limitations. Her curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm drive her to deliver exceptional results whether it is for the design of a new building or seismic retrofit of an existing structure. She is experienced in building code requirements for structural steel, concrete, and wood. Qudsia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UC Berkeley.

Outside of the office, Qudsia serves as a mentor to high school and college students, providing them with academic guidance. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and exploring new places. Qudsia is fluent in both Farsi and Russian.
