Forell | Elsesser’s Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life Moldaw Residences project was listed in RCLCO’s March 2013 report.

RCLCO’s “Best Practices Report” on Innovative Intergenerational Senior Housing Projects was triggered by the fact that individuals aged 70 and over will comprise 10% of the U.S. population by 2017. Intergenerational infill campus housing projects is a notable trend that is on the rise.

UC Berkeley Aquatics Facility

Forell | Elsesserprovided structural engineering services for this new aquatics facility including four buildings totaling over 10,000 s.f.  The steel and CMU main building along Bancroft Way includes an entrance hall, multi-purpose team room, and pool equipment. A CMU locker room building and a pool storage building are located adjacent to the new 50m pool. A new concrete framed dive tower, including platforms as high as 10m, is the first dive tower at the UC Berkeley campus.

  • Low cost, efficient structures along with beautiful high-end finishes was the goal for this new privately funded aquatics facility that is for the exclusive use by student-athletes.
