Chris is a Principal and California licensed Structural Engineer at Forell/Elsesser with more than 17 years of experience and knowledge of all major construction materials for commercial, multi-family housing, and institutional structures. His approach to problem solving is focused on efficiency and constructability of unique structures in high seismic regions.
Chris has significant experience in managing large, complicated structural projects. He enjoys interaction with clients and hands-on management which is essential for these projects to be completed successfully. One example is Chris’ role as Project Manager for the UC Berkeley California Memorial Stadium seismic upgrade. Chris also has extensive experience with multi-family housing structures. Chris has both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from UCLA.
When Chris is not responding to a client or remodeling his house, he enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with his family.
